Registered Dietitian (30% Remote)

Job Information Work Experience 1-3 years Health Care $36-40/hr City Morristown State/Province New Jersey 07960 Job Description RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide a Monthly Visit. Schedule: Flexible, One onsite visit per month with remote flexibility for a total of 6hrs/month. Compensation: $30.00-38.00 per hour DOE Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility Responsibilities Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes as needed. Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed. Identify high-risk residents for periodic nutritional assessments Adheres to all facility policy and procedure Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state) Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred). Experience with reviewing menus for facilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
