Human Resources Expert

Position Overview Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour. The Human Resources Expert works with Target’s HR team to support store leaders and team members. Responsibilities Deliver friendly guest experiences: greet guests, assist them in finding products or resolving issues, and close transactions with a sincere thank you. Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude. Collaborate with the HR leader to anticipate and address staffing needs, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills for in‑store and digital shopping. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders identify and hire candidates. Support training needs and advocate continuous learning. Act as an expert resource for scheduling systems, pay practices, and compliance policies. Advocate for ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, reporting hazards and correcting them when possible. Perform any other duties based on business needs. Qualifications Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Effective communication skills using multiple frequency devices and handheld scanners. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks. Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Physical ability to lift up to 44 lbs., often moving merchandise up to 10 lbs., and work in varying temperatures and humidity. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Basic Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and workforce management programs.
