Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in China, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting observations and assisting with site procedures. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.40 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeFri05:30 AM - 05:30 PMSat05:30 AM - 05:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear and timely activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
