Summary: ATS is seeking NDT experienced NDT Level II (4 methods) and/or CWI and/or API Techs to support our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs, CWI and API Inspectors. Gamma Radiography experience is required . At a minimum, candidates should also possess an IRRSP certification and/or a state radiographer card . Multiple/Additional certs preferred. Must be local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate. This is a permanent position with benefits and a pay range of $25 to $45+ per hour based on experience and certs held. Travel includes SoCal up to\n

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: \n
\n
\n

\n
• NDT Level II Tech/CWI/API will be responsible for supporting customers and projects in the field while conducting NDT and inspections in most methods.
\n
• All NDT Techs will collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency.
\n
• Maintain and report test results.
\n
• Complete reports and documentation as required.
\n
• Must be able to read technical documents and engineering specifications.
\n
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
\n
• Work safely; maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
\n
• Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
\n
• Ability to use computers for data entry.
\n
• MUST HAVE supporting certs and documentation for NDT/CWI/API qualifications including official formal training, OJT/Experience hours documentation as applicable.

Work Conditions: \n

\n

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
\n
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
\n
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
\n
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
\n
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
\n
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
\n
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
