Structural Engineering Professional Associate

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Structural Engineering Professional Associate to join an engineering company in Cincinnati, OH. This is a 7-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description

Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients.

Perform calculations of structural systems, (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (Staad)

Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to structural designer

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering

Professional Engineering (P.E.) License

Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems.

Must have demonstrated experience in the structural design for steel and concrete structures on a variety of projects.

Must have advanced working proficiency in STAAD Pro

Must have working knowledge of Revit.

Must have a solid working knowledge of building codes and other applicable structural codes.

Should have and display strong communication skills both verbal and written.
