Electrical Superintendent

Job description:

CJR Renewables is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction and installation activities on a utility-scale renewable energy project. The selected candidate will start in the Houston office before relocating to the project site in Alamogordo, NM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities in the field
• - Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications
• - Manage subcontractors and crews performing electrical installation
• - Coordinate with project management, QA/QC, and safety teams
• - Track progress, resolve field issues, and report on daily/weekly production
• - Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• - Support commissioning and punch-list close-out activities

Compensation & Logistics:

• Salary budgeted at $130,000 (flexible for strong candidates)
• - Per diem of $120/day, 7 days/week (except during rotation, when CJR covers rotation travel and no hotel is booked)
• - Company truck provided for work-related use once on site in Alamogordo

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of field supervisory experience in utility-scale renewable energy construction (solar or BESS preferred)
• - Prior US work experience required
• - OSHA 30 certification preferred
• - Willingness to relocate to Alamogordo, NM after onboarding in Houston
