West IFM Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a regional IFM Lead to manage facilities on a global client account in the consumer goods and services vertical. Location: Kansas City, MO 64116; Chicago, IL 60607; Detroit, MI 48226 Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Travel Requirements: 25% travel to client sites in the region Reports To: Account Director Estimated Base Salary: $123,000 – $150,700 per year What This Role Involves As the FM Operations Lead – Workplace Services, you will serve as a senior subject matter expert, responsible for driving operational excellence, legislative compliance, and innovation across a portfolio of campuses. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Act as senior operational subject matter expert for campus Facilities Managers, providing technical guidance and mentorship. Provide expert analysis and strategic oversight of regional financial performance, partnering with site leaders to develop budgets, identify cost‑optimization strategies, and ensure adherence to the GMP commercial model. Offer technical expertise on BMS, PPM schedules, and asset management, ensuring industry best practices. Provide guidance on EHS standards and legislative compliance, supporting audits. Plan and lead complex regional initiatives, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues. Champion the use of JLL's technology stack, analyzing data and recommending innovations. Collaborate with regional Workplace Experience and Engineering leads to ensure integrated service delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years progressive experience in integrated facilities management or corporate real estate. Advanced knowledge of IFM principles – hard and soft services, vendor management, operational best practices. Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex operational issues. Strong financial acumen – budget oversight, financial analysis, cost‑control strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, influence, guidance, partnership building. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising judgment. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years comprehensive IFM experience, ideally within a global account model. Direct experience with GMP or similar at‑risk commercial structures. Experience leading large‑scale projects or programs such as new service model implementations. High proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., Corrigo) and BI/analytics tools. Industry certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP).
