Job Description Our client is a growing, family-owned business focused on quality service, accuracy, and long-term employee growth. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Danville, VA. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working with inventory systems and shipping platforms. Key Responsibilities: Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
Pull and package inventory items for customer orders
Create shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment
Verify inventory and part numbers for accuracy
Maintain organized shipping and inventory areas
Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming inventory
Enter shipment and inventory information into company systems
Work with shipping platforms including UPS and Worldwide Express
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
Ensure orders are packaged safely and correctly
Assist with general warehouse and inventory organization as needed
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills required
Experience with QuickBooks or shipping software is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 pounds
