About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience required License: Active, pending licenses are accepted Certifications: BLS required, PALS preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Familiarity with charting systems - Pediatric experience required Description: This position involves working within a pediatric telemetry unit. The average patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. You will be responsible for caring for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. Duties include administering medications and managing various medical procedures. Experience with equipment such as IVs, telemetry monitoring, and central lines is essential. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. You will be required to float within the pediatric scope to meet facility needs. Weekend shifts are required, typically every other weekend. Candidates should be skilled in infection control and prepared to manage acute pediatric conditions. Your ability to effectively communicate and respond to patient needs will be critical in this role.
