Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the Cath Lab at our healthcare facility located in Houston, TX. The candidate must be fully vaccinated, as declinations are not accepted.

Unit Information

The Cath Lab features a state-of-the-art three-room suite where we perform a variety of cardiovascular, interventional radiology (IR), and vascular procedures. Procedures typically occur from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Skill Set

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Required: Strong clinical skills to handle diverse procedures and patient care.
• Preferred: Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Radiology Technologist, or as an RN in critical care settings (ICU, ER) caring for critically ill patients.

Common Procedures

Typical procedures performed in the Cath Lab include:

• Cardiac interventions
• Interventional Radiology cases
• Vascular procedures
• Electrophysiology (EP) cases

Required Certifications

The following certifications are required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• MRT license for catheter lab technicians in Texas

Preferred certifications include RN Critical Care and Trauma certifications.

No floating is required for this position.

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided for the staff.

On-Call and Weekend Requirements

On-call duties are approximately 1-2 days per week, with 1 weekend per month expected.
