As a Security Officer Full Time Rover in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this people-first role, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values reliability, innovation, agility, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor information, observing resident and guest traffic, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with daily residential property operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, hazards, and/or other unusual conditions through appropriate communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
