BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Salisbury, NC 28147 . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism.

- Role: Apartment Maintenance Technician
- Location: Salisbury, NC 28147
- Pay: $20-$22/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including:
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
