McCabe World Travel is a boutique agency of travel experts who specialize in exceptionally curated, bespoke travel experiences. Our team crafts transformative travel itineraries, tailored to each individual. The agency, based in McLean, VA, was founded in 1989, and in the 35+ years since, has continuously grown and established itself as a leader in the luxury travel industry. We have relationships with an extensive network of luxury travel leaders across the globe, ensuring the highest quality experiences for our clients. Our experienced advisors have decades of deep and wide-reaching firsthand travel expertise, and are always on the move learning more. We are seeking a detailed and motivated Travel Associate to join our team in a dynamic and prestigious industry where every day brings new opportunities to create unforgettable journeys.
The Travel Associate role is a full-time, hybrid/on-site position that operates within a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a crucial member of our support team, you will work closely with seasoned travel advisors to deliver top-notch service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our travel advisory services while gaining valuable experience in the travel industry.
Salary Range: $50k plus quarterly bonus
Sales invoicing
Create detailed itineraries to present to clients
Track and report sales
Destination research
Assist with cruise, hotel, and tour bookings
Review and prepare final travel documents
Travel insurance quotes and confirmation for clients
Review and monitor bookings to ensure seamless itineraries
Assist clients when Lead Advisor is out of the office
Strong attention to detail
Organization & time-management skills
Comfortable taking on a variety of tasks at once
Strong writing and communication skills
Team player; we are a very dynamic and team-oriented office
Previous work in a customer service role
Personal travel experience
Experience with Axus, Clientbase, booking engines/GDS
