On-site – Client location This position is based at a client property and requires regular outdoor work.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday 6:30am -2:00pm, with seasonal schedule changes as needed. Work may include occasional snow and ice-related duties and other seasonal or unexpected maintenance needs.

Landscape Garden Centers provides landscaping and grounds maintenance services for client properties. The team supports clean, attractive, and well-maintained outdoor spaces while also assisting with general property maintenance needs.

The Role

The Maintenance & Grounds Technician is responsible for keeping a client property clean, attractive, safe, and well-maintained. You'll handle routine landscaping and grounds work while also helping with basic property maintenance and unexpected needs as they arise. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and pays attention to problems that need to be addressed.

What You'll Do

• Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other outdoor spaces through mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, planting, and cleanup
• Operate and care for common landscaping equipment, hand tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Complete seasonal grounds work, including spring and fall cleanup and snow- and ice-related duties
• Keep the property clean and professional by removing litter, debris, and other unwanted materials
• Monitor the property and identify landscaping, grounds, or maintenance issues that need attention
• Assist with basic building and property maintenance, repairs, upkeep, and other hands-on projects
• Move materials, equipment, furniture, and other items as needed
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and ready for use

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Ability to safely use basic landscaping equipment, hand tools, and maintenance equipment
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with limited supervision
• Dependable and punctual with a willingness to help where needed
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, professional surroundings
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and carrying materials and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, general maintenance, or a related field
• General mechanical or building maintenance experience
• Experience working independently at a client or customer location
• Experience with seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow and ice-related work
