About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Enrollment & Marketing Officer (CEMO) to serve as the senior executive responsible for the entire student recruitment and enrollment ecosystem, as well as institutional marketing, communications, and brand strategy. The CEMO will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that integrates enrollment management, admissions, marketing, communications, digital engagement, CRM strategy, and market intelligence. This role requires a leader who can build a modern enrollment organization, leveraging data, storytelling, AI, automation, and personalized student engagement to drive sustainable enrollment growth and enhance the institution's national reputation. The successful candidate will be both a strategist and a builder, comfortable with analyzing enrollment funnels, developing institutional strategy, and leading teams through change. Key responsibilities for the CEMO include establishing annual and multi-year enrollment goals, leading all admissions operations, and optimizing the recruitment funnel. The role also involves leading the marketing and brand strategy, providing strategic oversight of institutional and enrollment communications, and championing the responsible adoption of AI throughout enrollment and marketing operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (master's preferred), a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience, and a strong background in enrollment strategy, CRM systems, and integrated marketing campaigns. They should possess excellent analytical, financial management, and communication skills, and have a proven track record in leading organizational change. Experience in graduate education, arts education, and low-residency or online education is preferred, as is a background in digital marketing analytics, brand development, and the creative industries.
