Foster Home Licensing SpecialistGillis Campus - KANSAS CITY, MO 64114OverviewSalary Range $43,000.00 - $46,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full TimeDescriptionWe are seeking a Foster Home Licensing Specialist (MO) to join our team.Starting Salary: $43,000 - $46,000 (Salary)We are seeking a Foster Home Licensing Specialist (MO) to join our team. Your role will complete timely and accurate licensure assessments and renewals, along with facilitating preservice and in-service training for prospective and or licensed foster, adoptive, and relative/kinship families. You will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of assigned homes and participate in recruitment activities. As a member of the Missouri Foster Care team, you will work with 5 other team members and report to our Resource Development Manager.What You Will Do:Conduct pre-service and in-service training for prospective and/or licensed resource parents; assessing and recommending families for further training needs to help build skillsets.Attend train the trainer for existing/new curriculum and complete yearly trainings as required.Complete timely and accurate licensure assessments, adoptive updates, addendums, and licensure renewals for resource families.Provide ongoing support and ensure licensing policies/regulations are followed through a variety of contacts (monthly, quarterly, as needed and required) and home visits to assigned caseload of families.Assist assigned families with problem-solving, obtaining resources and addressing identified needs.What You Will Bring:Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of child welfare experience and the following:Bachelor's degree in social work or other related field is required.Master's degree and foster care experience are preferred.At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.WHO WE ARE:Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives.
