Chemical Process Engineer

Job Title

This role is open due to a retirement - this person had been with the company 25 years. This role reports to the process engineering manager and there is another chemical engineer on the team as well. The main focus of this role will be on debottlenecking and process improvement - trying to get as much out of this process as possible because the company can essentially sell as much as they can make. There is also a potentially profitable waste stream that this company has identified and so something else this person could get involved in, if they're interested, is in process development of that process.

This company has been in business for decades and the products they produce are typically in high demand. They are continuing to make investments in their people and in their assets and this has been especially true over the past few years. The culture here is very close knit - there are many that have been with the company for 10, 15, 20+ years. The local community is small town America with a regional population of about 25,000 people and about 90 miles from Midway International Airport in Chicago.
