Marketing Communications Specialist II at TSI Under minimal direction or supervision, the Marketing Communication Specialist II will plan, write content, create, and implement marketing communications projects and activities related to the sales and promotion of company products in a consistent, efficient and cost-effective manner. As assigned, this role will have global planning and execution responsibilities, working closely with the assigned business units. This position will take an active role in the budgeting, planning, scheduling, and executing of marketing campaigns. What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will: Work in conjunction with product marketing and sales to plan, develop, coordinate, and monitor marketing campaigns and product launches for assigned product lines. Provide ongoing leadership and support to ensure successful tactical implementation of business plans. Work with product marketing to develop positioning, messaging and write copy for marketing materials, including emails, press releases, newsletters, data sheets, brochures, etc., to gain consistent recognition and understanding in the market. Interface with product marketing to smoothly transition products from development phase to launch phase. Partner with the Product Manager or Product Marketing Specialist in the development and execution of launch plans for new products. Take the lead in evaluating existing marketing materials, create new promotional materials as needed, identify the most effective advertising opportunities and appropriately place ads and outbound activities to effectively promote TSI’s products and messages. Work with Business Directors and Product Managers to determine spending budget by product line for advertising, trade shows, collateral materials, etc. Provide recommendations on proposed budget and maintain the marketing communications budgets throughout the year. Manage tradeshow presence by working closely with the appropriate teams to plan and develop booth designs, layouts, graphics, and supporting materials as needed. Maintain the company website including search engine optimization, AIO, organic searches, sponsorships, and writing copy for the website. Work closely with graphic designers on design and layout to meet TSI graphic standards and ensure consistency of messages and brand through all communications globally. Utilize marketing automation tools and appropriate AI tools to further the marketing efforts via nurturing programs, email distribution, and targeted messaging. What Do You Need? Required Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field 3+ years of experience in corporate marketing communications marketing technical products Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related spreadsheet and presentation software Excellent writing, editing and communications skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage varied and simultaneous projects Results-oriented and metrics-driven Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other teams within the organization Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision Experience working with complex, high-tech products Knowledge Advanced marketing communications principals and best practices, including a variety of communication disciplines, such as campaign management, media planning, public relations, digital marketing and measurement and benchmarking Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar) Working knowledge of CMS systems and Marketing Automation Tools (WordPress, HubSpot, SalesForce) Working knowledge of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) Travel May be required travel to tradeshows or other company events (less than 5%) What Can We Give You? Competitive market salary from $72,000 - $79,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
