Electrical Project Manager - Mission Critical BMS

Job Description

Job Description

Electrical Project Manager — Mission Critical BMS
Portland, OR | $130k-$150k DOE | Hybrid Onsite / Remote | Travel 50%-75%

Must have experience in Electrical Project Management. If it is BMS/EPMS experience specifically, that's a HUGE plus!

This isn't running one job from a trailer and calling it a day. This is running multiple mission-critical, low voltage BMS projects at once — different sites, different GCs, different deadlines — and keeping every one of them on schedule, on budget, and moving forward.

Nexus Dynamic is looking for an Electrical Project Manager based out of Portland, OR who can own the job from award to closeout. A good candidate can be based elsewhere in the US.

We move fast. We do NOT cut corners on safety, quality, or our people. You'll be the one the client, the GC, and our own crews count on to have the plan — and to communicate it early.

Can you do this?

- Own project financials end-to-end — budgets, forecasting, cost control, billings, and change orders. Know your numbers cold.
- Own the schedule — build it, push it, update it, and flag problems before they become delays
- Own manpower planning — forecast needs, and work side-by-side with the General Foreman assigned to your projects to get the right crew, at the right time, in the right place
- Coordinate daily with the GC, the client, and other trades — meetings, conflicts, sequencing, and solutions
- Run multiple projects at once without dropping the details on any of them
- Travel 50%-75% to project sites — be remote when you can, be onsite when it counts
- Report directly to the COO

What it takes:

- Proven experience in an Electrical Project Manager role — you have run electrical construction work, not just tracked it
- BMS or EPMS experience is a big advantage — if you know controls, power monitoring, and mission-critical / data center work, you move to the front of the line
- You understand field work. You respect the crews doing it, and you plan like their time and safety matter — because they do
- Strong on financials, schedules, and communication — clear, direct, and early, especially when the news isn't good
- Comfortable juggling competing priorities across multiple active jobs

The offer:
$130k-$150k depending on experience. Hybrid role based out of Portland, OR, with 50%-75% travel.

If you're a PM who can hold the money, hold the schedule, and hold the room — we want to talk.

If you're looking for slow, single-project, coast-till-Friday work — this isn't it.
