CONSTRUCTION REMODELING SPECIALIST

IN LAKELAND, PLANT CITY, WESLEY CHAPEL, & NEARBY AREAS IN FL Construction Remodeling Specialist needed! We are seeking a skilled, reliable construction worker to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for participating in a variety of building and construction projects for residential homes. Renovations often involve various chores, such as installation of kitchen cabinets or windows, crafting of drywall or wood structures, installing flooring, texturizing and painting, and repairs of roofs or flooring. Job Summary Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of the construction and remodeling process, and enjoy focusing on the details of a project. A successful candidate will be able to perform the following tasks daily: Prepare construction site each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment Complete previous projects or receive new project instructions from construction manager or supervisor Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Three years previous experience in construction preferred Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds Able to work independently or as an active member of a team Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management True Builders is the premiere Restoration and Remodeling company providing service to the Central Florida area.
