Front Office Receptionist
We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Office Receptionist to join our busy medical practice and surgery center. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients, both in person and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance eligibility
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Handling medical records and patient data entry
- Posting charges and payments accurately
- Assisting with various administrative duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Energetic, professional, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication, telephone, and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Personable and empathetic with patients and their needs
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Prior experience with medical insurance and front office procedures
- 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist preferred
