- ccupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Salary: $85,280 - $104,000 PRN/ON CALL

- ccupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
- Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
- Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
- Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
- Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
- Assists the patient with tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
- Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment, along with the OT/PT as needed.
- ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant issued by the state of California.
