License/Certifications: Indiana State License, ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (req for L&D), PALS (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience, recent Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years

Provide respiratory therapy care for pediatric patients in the PICU or NICU
Support neurodiagnostic procedures and assessments
Float between PICU, NICU, and Pediatric departments based on patient care needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust therapies accordingly
Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical standards
Assist with emergent respiratory and neurological interventions as required
Indiana State License (applying for both temp and permanent license acceptance)
BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT certification, NRP (for L&D if assigned)
Minimum of 2 years PICU experience
Recent experience in a children's hospital within the last 3 years
Pediatric or NICU/PICU experience in a hospital setting
Comfort with every other weekend work and floating to different specialty units
PALS certification
Experience in L&D settings (if applicable)
Additional pediatric critical care experience from a level 1 facility
This assignment is at a leading pediatric hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a focus on PICU and NICU patient care. The role involves supporting respiratory and neurodiagnostic needs of critically ill children and providing flexible coverage across multiple pediatric units, including potential floating to IU Health North Hospital.
