Salary: $50,000 $70,000 per year Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hire

You will be the go-to person for ensuring everyone gets paid accurately and on time across several different states. Key Responsibilities Running Payroll: Handling the regular cycles to make sure wages, overtime, and bonuses are all spot on. Keeping Records Current: Updating the system for new hires, departures, and any pay changes or tax updates. Managing Deductions: Taking care of the details like benefits, garnishments, and taxes while staying on the right side of federal and state laws. Solving Problems: Reconciling reports and fixing any glitches before the submit button is hit. Supporting the Team: Working closely with HR and Finance to keep data clean, and helping out with year-end W-2s and audits.
Position Requirements We are looking for an experienced professional with a solid track record, not a resume stuffed with trendy filler keywords. Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated payroll or accounting experience. Know-How: A strong understanding of payroll taxes, wage laws, and how deductions work across different states. Software & Tech: Comfort using systems like ADP, Paychex, or UKG, alongside intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Reliability: Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and capable of handling sensitive, confidential information with total discretion.
Work Environment This position is based in-office, though there is flexibility for occasional remote work once you are fully trained and up to speed. Because payroll is time-sensitive, we just ask for a reasonable amount of flexibility during heavy processing weeks or at the end of the year.
