Position Overview:
Your Role:
In this advanced technical role within the allied imaging field, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver top-notch imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The main focus of the MRI Technologist role is to conduct routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging. Additionally, you will perform venipuncture as necessary and support Radiologists and Radiology nurses during sedation procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current BCLS certification
- Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
- Certification from the Texas Department of State Health
- Preferred work experience: 1 year
- Alternatively, ARRT (R) certification; the employee must obtain ARRT (MR) certification within one year of completing orientation
