Director of Product, Security Platforms New York City Full-Time, In-Office

Overview

Our client, an established leader in commercial electronic security and managed services, is seeking a Director of Product to help shape its next generation of integrated security solutions.

Reporting directly to the CTO, this individual will own the technology roadmap across video surveillance, access control, intrusion, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on AI, analytics, and Live Video Monitoring (LVM).

This is an opportunity for a proactive product leader who understands the manufacturer ecosystem, thinks beyond individual products, and knows how to turn technology into scalable, recurring-revenue services.

What You'll Do

• Own product strategy and technology roadmaps across video, access control, and intrusion.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, lead pilots and POCs, and drive platform selection.
• Build strategic manufacturer relationships and identify new market opportunities.
• Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for revenue-generating services.
• Partner with Technology, Monitoring, Operations, and Sales to bring integrated solutions to market.
• Advance video, AI, analytics, and LVM capabilities across the organization.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of experience in commercial electronic security, including product or technology leadership.
• Deep expertise in commercial video surveillance, analytics, AI, and LVM.
• Experience with security technology manufacturers and product development or platform management.
• Working knowledge of access control, intrusion, and integrated security platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable products or services that generate recurring revenue.
• Strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and a proactive, self-directed approach.
• Bachelor's degree required.
