Medication TechnicianWe are currently seeking full time and part time medication technicians to join our enthusiastic team at The Hearth at Drexel!The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our residents.Shift/Schedule available:Full time - 7:00am - 3:00pmPart time - 7:00am - 3:00pmPart time - 3:00pm - 11:00 pmSome job responsibilities include:Responsible for AL resident self-administration of medications and treatments per shift in accordance with policies and procedures of The Hearth at Drexel and DPW.Assess residents' needs daily. Initiate interventions as needed and direct to supervisor using Interact Form.Assist with monitoring dining room at meal times in Assisted Living Department.Responsible for knowledge and compliance with all DPW regulations on medications.Assist with activities of daily living required by AL residents.Report refusal of medications and/or services to supervisors and properly document to ensure medications/treatments are done.Report and communicate daily with the nursing supervisor regarding Assisted Living issues.Document daily report sheets to ensure medications are double-checked and documented before self-administration at same time and charting as events occur.Report incidents on day of incident and fill out forms and reports to supervisor immediately.
