Registered Nurse - ER

Emergency Room Registered NurseMinimum experience: 2 years; 1st timers are accepted. Patient population: Neonates to geriatrics. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS. General skills and work setting requirements: ER RN - treating patients for all complaints and all ages. Ratio/census: 1:4; 14 rooms; 17 beds with an average volume of 60 per day. Unit systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub color: Navy blue. RTO: MAX 7 days. Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere. Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed. Call requirements: None. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. *Note - We utilize set schedules. If the schedule falls on a holiday, it is expected they work the set date*. Major holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day.
