Position Overview We invite a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists, providing top‑notch care to our patients. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, work collaboratively with an encouraging team of healthcare professionals, and play a significant role in providing reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging results. Description of Responsibilities Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Ensure patient comfort and safety during each examination, clearly explaining processes with kindness and professionalism. Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imagery. Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any issues. Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system. Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards. Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline. Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program strongly preferred. Certifications Required Current registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred. Skills Needed Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Aptitude to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a patient-centered focus.
