Director of Information Technology

Job Description The Director of Information Technology, or what we call an Operations Partner – Enterprise Technology Services (OP-ETS), is responsible for the execution of strategic direction and management of the technology functions within True Homes. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of technology solutions, managing technology teams, and ensuring that technology is aligned with business objectives. The OP-ETS will be working closely the Executive Partner – Enterprise Technology Services (EP-ETS), who oversees the entire technology function in the organization, to shape the technology platforms around a unified strategic plan. In addition, the Ops Partner – ETS will collaborate with their peer Ops Partners and senior leaders on Central Services Leadership team to define and execute overall internal operations strategic initiatives. The OP-ETS is responsible for leading their team in working synergistically with other departments to provide a uniquely exceptional experience for our internal customers. The OP-ETS implements the Leadership Charter - establishes team congruency with the True Difference Culture; demonstrates leadership consistent with the True North Leadership (TNL) Platform; matures their Functional Platform. Designs and manages the technology architecture of the organization, ensuring that it is secure, scalable, and efficient. Recruits, manages, and mentors the ETS technology teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver on technology projects. Oversees the development and implementation of technology projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Develops and manages the technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately, and that technology spending is aligned with business objectives. Ensures that technology systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards, and that they are secure from internal and external threats. Performs other duties as needed or required Results/Accountability Ensures team congruency with The True Difference Ensures leadership congruency with True North Leadership Platform Expected to provide regular reports to the EP – ETS. The reports should highlight the progress made in achieving the technology strategy and achieving business objectives presented in a concise and informative manner to enable the EP - ETS to make informed decisions about the organization's technology strategy. Including: Technology roadmap- Maintain a detailed technology roadmap for the True Homes, including the status of ongoing projects, timelines, and milestones achieved. Budget report- A report that details the technology budget and expenditure for True Homes, highlighting any areas of overspend or underspend. Project status report- Report the status of defined enterprise value projects, including progress made, challenges faced, and future plans. Annual Security and compliance report- A report that outlines the organization's compliance status with regulatory requirements and data security measures. Emerging Technology report- A report that provides updates on emerging technologies that could potentially impact the organization's technology strategy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Or equivalent relevant experience. 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles. Strong understanding of technology architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Experience managing technology teams and developing talent. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen and understanding of the role of technology in business strategy. Experience managing technology budgets and vendor relationships. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to technology.
