Quick Facts Location: Macon, Georgia Start Date: 02/21/2024 (or as discussed) Duration: Permanent placement Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday), 8-hour weekends, and 16-hour night shifts (4 days/week) — no call Hours/week: 36-40 hours Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified NNP (must, no exceptions) Experience: 2+ years as NNP (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, life, disability, employee stock purchase, 401(k), HSA, FSA, supplemental plans, EAP, and more What You’ll Do Provide neonatal intensive care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity Level-III NICU Collaborate with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Implement and monitor treatment plans, ventilator management, nitric oxide support, and brain cooling protocols Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Educate and support families through care processes and procedures Engage in clinical appointments and contribute to medical education at Mercer Medical School What You Need Required: Board Certified Neonatal NNP (no FNP/PNP accepted) Minimum 2 years recent experience as NNP Preferred: Experience with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, recognized for its advanced neonatal services and nursing excellence.
