In this role, you'll work on a variety of high-profile commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, transportation, and infrastructure projects throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. As a CMT Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in helping ensure the quality and safety of construction projects by performing field testing, inspections, and documentation activities. Responsibilities include: Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, masonry, grout, mortar, and reinforcing steel in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and project specifications. Observe construction activities and collect field data on active construction sites. Review construction plans and specifications in preparation for field observations and testing assignments. Document testing results, observations, and site conditions using electronic reporting systems such as Metafield. Communicate testing and inspection results with NOVA project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients. Assist project teams in identifying and documenting construction issues, deficiencies, and compliance with project requirements. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment in accordance with industry standards. Safely work on commercial and heavy civil construction sites throughout the Atlanta area. Why Join NOVA?
