Barkley SurgiCenter is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician. Welcome to Barkley SurgiCenter. Barkley SurgiCenter is now seeking a full time Registered Nurse Endoscopy/Operating Room Circulator to join our team! We specialize in:

• Colonoscopy
• EGD – Upper GI Endoscopy
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Hemorrhoid Banding

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience

· Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred

· Experience with all types of sterilizers

· Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures

· Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items

· Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
