Help Desk Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Preferred)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time (aligned to Alaska business hours)

TEKsystems is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support our Alaska based healthcare organization's internal end users. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who enjoys solving technical issues and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues
• Support user administration and account management within Active Directory
• Assist with Microsoft Exchange-related support requests
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate while ensuring excellent customer communication
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate support records

Qualifications

• Previous Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
• Experience supporting users in an Active Directory environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to think critically and work through unique technical challenges
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred

• Local to the Tallahassee, FL area
• Experience supporting enterprise-level environments

This is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
