Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, storing, loading, and unloading materials in a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.If you have experience operating forklifts and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers.Move materials between storage, production, and shipping areas.Utilize pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment as needed.Interpret work orders and prioritize tasks to meet operational demands.Assist with inventory management and material tracking.Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity and quality goals.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.QualificationsRequired:Previous forklift experience (sit-down and/or stand-up).Experience with material handling in a warehouse environment.Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and RF scanners.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Preferred:Experience operating a cherry picker up to 20 feet.Experience handling long or oversized materials.Prior distribution, logistics, or warehouse experience.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, and handle materials, including pipe up to 20 feet in length.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.Why Join Us?Supportive and team-oriented cultureEmployee appreciation events and team-building activitiesOpportunities for growth and advancementSafety-focused workplaceRefreshments and additional break accommodations during warm weather conditionsWork EnvironmentThis position is located in a warehouse environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
