Eyrus is a Workforce Management Software company that provides workforce visibility and access-control technology for the commercial construction industry. We deploy NFC/BLE IoT devices, badges, and Axis camera systems to manage the secured access control and site monitoring of major commercial construction projects nationwide. Our platform gives worksite teams real-time insight into who is on site, where, and when — improving safety, security, and accountability across complex builds.

As Eyrus's camera program continues to grow, we're building a dedicated camera surveillance and monitoring division to design, deploy, monitor, and support camera systems across every active jobsite in our portfolio, and we're looking for a leader to head it up.

Position Summary

We're hiring a Manager, Camera Systems & Monitoring to head up Eyrus's growing camera surveillance and monitoring division. This leader will be responsible for growth and build-out of our camera business, owning the strategy, delivery, and client outcomes from customer onboarding through ongoing monitoring and support across every active jobsite in our portfolio.

This is a leadership role with a hands-on edge. Most customers install Eyrus cameras themselves with remote support from our team, so this leader will build the playbook, processes, and partner network that make every deployment repeatable. You will also own the monitoring onboarding process, move camera support from reactive to proactive, partner with sales to win camera work, and build the team needed to scale. The ideal candidate is a proven project manager from a camera or physical security company who is ready to run a business line.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Eyrus's camera surveillance and monitoring division: set strategy and goals, build the operating plan, and drive revenue growth, adoption, and margin across the camera business.
• Own the camera lifecycle from kickoff to ongoing health as the single accountable owner, coordinating sales, field operations, support, and the customer at every stage.
• Build and run the customer self-install program: develop the deployment playbook, quick-start guides, install checklists, and remote commissioning process, and define what "go-live" means for every site.
• Create and manage a paid Eyrus-arranged install option, including a vetted regional installer network, for customers who prefer not to install cameras themselves.
• Own the relationship and performance of our U.S.-based third-party monitoring company, including a standard monitoring onboarding process, setup turnaround, service levels, site coverage, and escalation procedures.
• Move camera support from reactive to proactive: run a triaged alert queue, set response targets, track root causes, and report on fleet health, uptime, and client satisfaction.
• Partner with sales leadership to build the camera pipeline, scope and price solutions, and guide system design (Axis Site Designer) for prospective and existing clients.
• Manage vendor and distribution relationships, including Axis, covering warranty/RMA handling, firmware management, and spare/replacement logistics.
• Hire, build, and develop the team as the division scales, setting clear standards and accountability.
• Serve as the senior point of contact on camera programs for key general contractor clients, and work with field operations, IT/networking, and account management to integrate cameras with the rest of the Eyrus hardware stack.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for key rollouts, audits, and client escalations.

Qualifications

Required

• 3–4 years of camera project management experience, ideally at a camera, video surveillance, or physical security company, delivering multi-site deployments from design through go-live. 
• Demonstrated leadership experience owning a business line, program, or team, including setting strategy, hitting targets, and developing others.
• Strong working knowledge of Axis Communications camera hardware and software (cameras, AXIS Companion/Camera Station, firmware management) and Axis Site Designer.
• Axis Communications camera certification.
• Experience building repeatable deployment processes, such as playbooks, checklists, and customer onboarding or remote support programs.
• Experience overseeing video monitoring operations and third-party vendor relationships, including onboarding, service levels, and escalations.
• Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals (IP addressing, PoE, VLANs, basic router/switch configuration) as they relate to camera deployments.
• Familiarity with construction sites or comparable field environments and the customers who work in them.
• Commercial acumen: comfortable partnering with sales, scoping and pricing solutions, managing budgets, and contributing to revenue growth.
• Excellent communication skills, including translating technical detail for general contractors, executives, and other non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as the business requires.

Preferred

• PMP or comparable project management certification.
• Experience scaling a new service line, division, or team.
• Experience with LPR (license plate recognition) camera configurations.
• Familiarity with cellular/IoT networking gear (e.g., cellular routers, SIM management) in field deployments.
• Prior experience in construction, physical security, or low-voltage integration industries.
• Experience managing installer or subcontractor networks.
• OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain.
