Battery Swap Technician - Electric Scooters (1099)

Flores & Family Logistics Group is seeking reliable independent contractors to perform battery swaps on electric scooters throughout Baltimore. This role involves efficient and safe execution of battery replacement tasks on a daily route basis, ensuring scooters remain operational for customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform battery swaps on assigned electric scooters
- Replace depleted batteries with fully charged units
- Inspect scooters for visible damage and operational issues
- Report damaged or offline scooters using the company app
- Complete assigned routes efficiently and safely
- Meet or exceed daily performance goals
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Access to SUV, crossover, or cargo van preferred
- Smartphone with reliable data service
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- No mechanical experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in micromobility operations
