Provides general labor support in the production of plastic film by assisting with machine operation, material handling, quality checks, and packaging. Ensures production runs efficiently by supporting the operator and maintaining proper workflow, organization, and safety standards. Essential Job Functions Actively puts safety first in all responsibilities, promoting Amcor’s safety culture. Performs in-process and final quality inspections on assigned lines, verifying product conformance to customer specifications and quality standards. Conducts testing using established methods and equipment, including gauge/thickness measurement, seal integrity, print registration, and contamination checks. Documents inspection and test results accurately in quality systems and logs; flags non-conforming product and initiates hold procedures. Communicates quality issues and conditions that adversely affect quality or throughput to Production Supervisors and the QA Manager in real time. Supports root cause investigations and corrective actions for internal non-conformances and customer complaints. Calibrates and maintains quality inspection equipment according to established schedules. Reviews and verifies incoming raw material quality against specifications as needed. Supports internal audits and maintains documentation required for ISO 9001 compliance.
