Job Title: Asset Recovery Assistant
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay: $20 per hour + performance bonus (% of debt recovered)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Asset Recovery Assistant to support our Sacramento team. In this role, you’ll assist with recovering delinquent accounts, supporting investigative efforts, and helping maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with regulations.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with contacting customers regarding past-due accounts and payment arrangements
- Support collection and recovery efforts while maintaining professionalism
- Help research and locate debtors using skip tracing and other investigative methods
- Track recovery activity, document communications, and provide updates to management
- Ensure all activities comply with FDCPA and state regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in collections, debt recovery, or related administrative roles preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to research, problem-solve, and support recovery initiatives
- Detail-oriented, persistent, and goal-driven
- Knowledge of skip tracing, repossession, or default accounts is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20 per hour
- Performance bonus based on percentage of debt recovered
