This position is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining information within company databases while ensuring the timely and efficient receipt of materials and services in the Oracle system. The Receiver will establish and maintain strong working relationships across departments, with a particular focus on purchasing and finance, to support effective communication and coordination. Key responsibilities include participating in cycle count processes and inventory evaluations, investigating and resolving inventory and invoice discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to drive continuous improvement in receiving processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless material flow throughout the facility. This position is scheduled to work day shift hours, Monday through Friday, and may require flexibility as needed to support business operations. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience receiving and/or tracking materials within a company database while maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook (Email), Excel, and Teams, with the ability to effectively manage data and communicate across departments. Proficiency with enterprise software systems such as Oracle and/or SAP, along with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in an industrial warehouse environment with a strong understanding of receiving, inventory control, and material handling processes.
