THE ROLE:AMD is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated person to join the Central Verification team This team is a central R&D team that works with all project execution teams and provides design verification flows and methodologies This role's focus will be on Formal Verification (FV) and methodologies and flows around FV If you're eager to study, passionate about formal verification, enjoy hands-on practices, and driven to implement ideas, we'd like to work with you!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Contribute to products, flows, and methodologies that support extensive and efficient use of formal verification across AMDDrive or support projects that apply formal verification, tools, and techniques to improve hardware design and implementation qualityIdentify the best solutions available inside and outside of the company; evaluate and facilitate the deployment of the improved solutionShare knowledge through hands-on work, documentation, and presentation PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Strong programming, scripting and debugging skillsHands on experience with using formal verification tools from EDA vendorsKnowledge of or experience with static analysis and/or formal methods, such as formal logic and model checkingAbility to understand hardware description languages and hardware designCollaborative, able to work with teammates and teams across the globeDriven to learn and try new techniques and technologiesDetail oriented, organized and highly motivatedExperience with data analysis, data mining, and machine learning is a plusExperience with cloud computing is another plusACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering LOCATION: Austin, TX This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-SL3 #LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
