AP Specialist

Job Title: AP Specialist Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Contract/Contract to hire Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite System One has partnered with a growing manufacturing company to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting the full-cycle accounts payable process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for payment approval Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment information Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Assist with month-end close activities and AP reconciliations Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures Support audits and provide documentation as requested Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience with high-volume invoice processing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics Understanding of purchase orders and inventory-related invoicing Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
