Job Opportunity: General Orthopedic Surgeon

We are a physician-led multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently looking for a full-time general orthopedic surgeon to become part of our thriving orthopedic practice located in Fruitland, Idaho. Our dedicated team includes two Orthopedic Sports Medicine specialists and three Advanced Practice Providers, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.

Typical Schedule

• Monday to Friday workweek
• A minimum of 32 hours of patient contact weekly
• Involvement in procedures, rounding, consultations, and General Orthopedic Emergency Department call

Support Services

Our hospital offers extensive imaging services, featuring:

• A 24/7 radiology department with in-house coverage for general radiology and CT scans
• After-hours support for ultrasound and nuclear medicine
• MRI services
• A Comprehensive Breast Center
• Digital Radiography (DR) image capture technology

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or eligibility to obtain it within three years
• Ability to secure medical licensure in Idaho and Oregon, along with privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC-Nampa
• Valid registration for controlled substances with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• Willingness to participate in general orthopedic call
