Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

RN – Operating Room

Schedule: Day/Evening, 5 x 8s, M - F 0600 to 2030. Schedule and start times rotate.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Preferred
• 1+ years of experience in Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma required
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR): Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout the surgical procedure.
• Ensure proper surgical protocols and procedures are followed to maintain patient safety.
• Provide assistance with surgical instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and procedures.
