OSF ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-*** to regular and OT bill rates)
- OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation


REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION:
- Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN
- Clinician's middle initial
- Requested time off
- Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
- Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

Unit OR - Surgery - General (Major) - RN
# Suites 5
Average # of cases per day 20-25
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS/ACLS (PALS would be ideal but not required)
Common Cases General surgery, GYN surgery, Urology Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry Surgery - colon resections, basic lap gen surgery cases, hysterectomy and other lap GYN cases, basic urology and nephrectomy/prostatectomy, PCNL, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, shoulder replacement, knee scopes, shoulder scopes, and basic podiatry cases
Experience or 'Must have' skills orthopedic surgery preferred; overall minimum 2 years in OR
Scrubbing required - RN's preferred; but will take 1 traveler with the skill and 1 without
Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes charge nurse and sometimes they take an assignment depending on staffing. There is a supervisor who covers the department
