Vast is looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer (Fixed Term) , reporting to the Manager of Talent Sourcing , to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial‑gravity human‑rated space stations. This will be a full‑time, 6‑month fixed term position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent across a variety of engineering disciplines. Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive and active candidates to support current and future hiring needs. Engage prospective candidates through thoughtful outreach, sharing Vast’s mission and inspiring interest in our work. Conduct initial candidate screens and exploratory conversations to assess technical alignment, experience, and motivation. Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and translate them into effective sourcing plans. Track and manage candidate activity to ensure a high‑quality, consistent talent pipeline. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience as a technical sourcer or a similar talent acquisition role. Preferred Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Experience with Greenhouse. Demonstrated ability to source candidates with niche areas of expertise. Self‑directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Strong customer service mindset. Excellent communicator and problem solver. Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure. Highly organized with a knack for building relationships. Pay Range Technical Sourcer II: $45 - $64 Senior Technical Sourcer: $58 - $83 California: $58–$83 USD Compensation And Benefits Base salary will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
