Tax AccountantSalary: $65,000 - $90,000 per yearLocation: Phoenix, AZGrowing North Phoenix boutique CPA firm is looking to add a tax Accountant to their staff. This is a great opportunity to grow in your tax career. This is an in-person position with a salary range of $65,000 - 90,000 depending on your experience level.Responsibilities:Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trustsPreparing tax extensionsYear end tax projectionsTax ResearchGenerating trial balances and financial statementsResponding to IRS and other taxing authority noticesProactively communicating with clients to obtain necessary information and provide tax and financial feedbackFinancial statement, reviews & compilationsRequirements include:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredCPA or CPA Candidate1 -4 years of tax experience in a CPA firm as well as experience of financial statement review and compilations.Proficiency in both general and accounting related computer softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate with other members of the firmStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments
