Type of Opportunity Part time, FTE: 0.30, Job Exempt: No, Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Shift Differentials Nights: $5.00; Weekends: $3.00 Preceptor differnetals as part of the career ladder program Eligible therapists may receive differential pay based on advanced certifications (RPFT, CPFT, Perinatal Pediatric, ACCS, RPSGT, etc.) Responsibilities All certified respiratory therapist responsibilities Assists physicians with bronchoscopy procedures, including monitoring and assessment of level of consciousness, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; and delivery of IV conscious sedation agents (opioids, benzodiazepines, sedative‑hypnotics, and reversal agents) Initiates ventilator protocols; implements and coordinates ventilator management Performs advanced airway care: tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation Initiates and monitors high‑frequency ventilators In NICU: Surfactant delivery, intubation, and attend high‑risk deliveries Optional procedures: transport team, intubation, backup charge therapist Initiates and monitors nitric oxide delivery Performs department‑specific functions as detailed within the summary of the department‑specific duties Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy Reg Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) Respiratory Care Practitioner NMBL (SACLS and/or PALS) Six months to one‑year of critical care experience preferred EEO Statement AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED.
