Litigation Associate

Who We Need: Our litigation team is looking for an associate attorney with 0-2 years of relevant experience to work in our commercial litigation practice group. We are looking for a lawyer who is hard working, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced legal environment, and contributes to our positive culture. Responsibilities: Handle a broad range of commercial disputes in both state and federal courts. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda. Conduct discovery, including depositions and document review. Prepare and argue motions. Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management. Manage client communications and provide timely updates. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to the New York State Bar. 0-2 years of experience, with a background in litigation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from experienced attorneys. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and communicating via phone and email, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may require occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (e.g., files or office materials up to approximately 10–20 pounds), with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
