Benefits: Bonus based on performance Flexible schedule Training & development Flexible schedules/no weekends required Home Care Pulse awarded Right at Home - Employer of Choice for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Proprietary University for Continuing Education CPR and First Aid Training New pay rates for 2024 Part-time 2-4 hour and 6 to 8 hour shifts available Time and a half paid on major holidays Continuing Education - Proprietary University Student Mentoring/Internship Flexible scheduling - Set your own availability (perfect for students) Mileage reimbursement for Client transportation or errands Mileage reimbursement for Caregiver travel between clients Travel Time reimbursement for travel between Clients Bonuses for referrals PAID Training & Job Shadowing Responsibilities and Duties: Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair) Ambulation/Transfers Eating Dressing/Showering/Bathing Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom Medication reminders Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises Measuring and preparing special diets Understanding dementia care Incontinence care Qualifications and Skills: High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred Home Health Aid Certificate or one year of experience as a Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes, communities or hospitals) Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile Possess strong Teamwork, Communication, Adaptability, Decision Making and Problem Solving Intrapersonal Skill Sets #J-18808-Ljbffr
